Travelers in the Wenatchee Valley this weekend might expect delays when going over the Senator George Sellar Bridge.

According to the Washington State Department of Transportation, the outside lanes and pedestrian access on the bridge will be closed for washing on both Saturday and Sunday. The work is meant to remove dirt and litter as well as to clean bridge connections for inspection.

The George Sellar Bridge makes up a portion of State Route 285.
