Eastmont Aquatic Center Opening Monday

Eastmont Parks and Recreation will be opening up the pool on Monday for a limited access.

Director of Recreation & Marketing Charlie Brown says reservations will be required.

"We're limited to one person per lane and limited hours. We're doing 5:00 a.m. until 9 and the close for cleaning for a couple of hours. We're back open from 11:00 a.m. until 1. We close again to clean and then we open up for evening swim from 3:00 p.m. to 6."

Brown says the only requirement to use the pool is that you have to know how to swim.

"We don't have any swim lessons or anything going on because of restrictions and us still trying to figure out how to make all of that work. Eventually we would like to offer additional programming but until we're able to figure that out with the restrictions in place it's limited to the water walking and lap swimming."

Reservations are booked up two weeks in advance and are made by calling Parks and Rec or stopping by the office.

You can pay for one use, or buy a punch pass for 10 visits.
