Washington Department of Natural Resources and Washington Department of Fish and Wildlife are encouraging Chelan County residents to weigh in on Green Dot Road updates.

The Green Dot Road system is managed by WDFW and DNR to provide access to camping, hunting, wildlife viewing and off road use.

"It [the Green Dot Road system] also gives us the opportunity to protect sensitive habitat from potential damage," said Ryan Rodruck, DNR communications manager. "It's important we get feedback for those recreational opportunities to let us know how we can make best use of that road system."

A potential change includes implementing a seasonal closure in the Naneum/Colockum Road area.

Public input will be accepted until April 1. To provide input and read more on proposed changes, visit here.
