Gas Leak Causes Moses Lake Road Closure

Businesses were evacuated along Stratford Road along with a road closure between Valley Road and Mart Road on Stratford after a large gas leak on Tuesday. During road construction, a 6 inch gas main was struck and caused the incident. The leak was major enough the the road is closed for several hours. According to a Moses Lake Police Department post, a Yakima crew was en route to fix the issue.
