Gesa Credit Union and Wenatchee School District are partnering for the launch of two new co-branded debit cards which in turn raise funds for Wenatchee High School and WestSide High School.

The credit union plans to donate funds for programs at the high school each time a Co-Branded Affinity debit card is swiped. Eastmont School District runs a similar partnership with Gesa for its school programs.

"They (the debit cards) are co-branded with the Gesa logo, but its branded in the school colors, mascot and logo," said Angie Brotherton, assistant vice president of community relations for Gesa Credit Union.

Gesa Credit Union members can elect to have one of the W.S.D debit cards instead of a Visa debit card for free. Programs supported with the funding include art, music, DECA and FFA.
