Grant County Health District Vehicle Stripped by Thieves

A Grant County Health District work vehicle had its tires and rims removed in late April by thieves, causing the health district to put the pickup truck for a sealed bid. The thieves returned to steal the catalytic converter a few weeks later.

"They removed the tires and the rims and placed the Ford Ranger up on blocks," said Misty Aguilar, Public Information Officer. "Earlier this week, somebody came and cut the exhaust off and stole the catalytic converter."

Grant County Health District closed the bid Friday morning.

The investigation is ongoing.
