Grant PUD Searching for Interim Commissioner

The Grant PUD Board of Commissioners is searching for qualified applicants to fill the remainder of the late Dale Walker's term, which runs through December of 2022.

The PUD said individuals that are interested in the position must be a registered voter within Grant County's District 2 boundary, which covers portions of Moses lake, Warden and surrounding areas.

Applicants are encouraged to submit a letter of interest and resume to the Grant PUD Board of Commissions by sending it to: Grant County PUD, P.O. Box 878 Ephrata, Washington 98823. Submissions can also be sent by email to commissioners@grantpud.org. The deadline is 5pm September 10th.

Applicants must provide a statement of qualifications, pertinent education, relevant experience and reasons for seeking appointment as a Grant PUD Commissioner.

Walker passed away earlier this month from lung cancer. He was first elected in 2010 and was involved in the development of the Columbia Basin Project.
