Haley Creek Area Remains Focus for Cold Springs Canyon Fire

The Cold Springs Canyon fire is at 187,689 acres and 25% contained, as of Friday morning. According to public information officer, Jeff Sevigney, the Haley Creek and Omak Lake area of the fire will be the focus for firefighters, along with aircraft assistance, Friday as there is still active fire.

Evacuation orders and road closures remain the same, however as firefighters mitigate infrastructure damage, road closures and evacuation orders will adjusted.

Thursday night firefighters continued work strengthening containment lines and monitoring the fire near the Haley Creek area.
