The temperature is dropping which is a sign the winter season is edging into the foreseeable future and Wenatchee Parks and Recreation announced a seasonal program to keep little ones' cabin fever at bay. The Indoor Playground Program is returning November 6 in the Pybus Events Room.

"Our indoor playground is for children ages four and under," said Caryl Andre, recreation supervisor. "It's basically like an indoor park during the winter months."

The program will run until the end of March. The program runs from 9 until noon, Monday through Thursday.

"It's just a warm and safe place to play with kids in the winter time. It's a great place for moms and caregivers to hang out and watch their kids, have coffee and the kids just run around and have fun with all the toys that we have," said Andre.

The cost is $1 for residents that live within Wenatchee city limits and $1.50 for those that don't.
