LifeLine Inc. is offering Emergency Medical Technician training courses from January to March. Anyone that is 18 by the end of the course, has a high school diploma or GED or can show they have the ability to benefit from the course by showing their SAT scores or GPA is eligible.

"LifeLine Ambulance is the only private ambulance service that is also a licensed vocational school," said Yvonne Kennedy, training coordinator.

The course will run from January 8 through March 28. Classes run from 6-9 p.m. on Mondays and Wednesdays and from 8-4 p.m. on Saturdays and take place at the LifeLine Station #1.

"The course fee of $1800 includes the textbooks, the online test prep, all the lab fees and the BLS provider CPR course," said Kennedy. "It's a skill you can take anywhere. We are always hiring at LifeLine and I know that almost all ambulance services are searching for people. It's a really rewarding way for people to earn a living helping their community."
