Link Transit Shut Down, Various Other Services in NCW Closed Due to Winter Storm

All Link Transit Service in Chelan and Douglas counties is cancelled for Thursday due to hazardous driving conditions. The transit says regular service will resume Friday, weather permitting.

In Chelan County, The Dryden Transfer Station, Chelan Transfer Station and Moderate Risk Waste Facility are closed. The Waste Management Transfer Station in Wenatchee also is closed.

Chelan County buildings are also closed, including the courthouse, jail and most other operations.

The Douglas County Board of Commissioners has directed an emergency closure of all Douglas County Facilities for January 6, 2022 due to the snow event.

Cascade Medical Center in Leavenworth is closed for appointments, which will have to be rescheduled.  The center's emergency room remains open, however. 

All NCW Libraries Chelan, Douglas, Grant and Okanogan counties are closed due to hazardous weather and impassable travel conditions.

The Ephrata City Hall in Grant County is also closed.  Meanwhile, there is minimal staffing at the Grant County Courthouse.
