The annual Nick's Bricks event at Pybus Public Market takes place Saturday, March 7th from 10 a.m. to 3 p.m.

Coordinator Kevin Vitulli says the event, which is named after his son Nick who passed away while hiking in Africa in 2016, is a make and take event with Lego characters, displays, cookies and a toddler town.

"We're just trying to create a real atmostphere around this event families can enjoy it. It has been, through the community's support, pretty successful."

There will be four sessions this year with registration being first come, first served, but limited to 175 kids per session.

Vitulli says the event is built off a previous Lego event that Pybus used to have that they knew their son would love.

"Kids can come in and make whatever they want. There's no specific builds. There's going to be Legos in tubs on these tables and the kids come and can, for an hour, build whatever creations they want."

Vitulli couldn't provide much detail, but did say one of the participants from the Lego Masters TV show would be in attendance.
