Price at the Pump Increasing Along with Demand

Gas prices continue to rise both locally and across the country as demand continues to outpace supply.

According to our news partner iFIBER One, the average price of a gallon of unleaded regular fuel is $3.05 in the Wenatchee Valley, which is up from $2.90 a year ago and 40 cents higher than one month ago. The drive in demand has likely been a result of renewed optimism regarding the pandemic as people begin traveling more.

Fuel prices could rise by as much as 25 cents within the next month, but regular unleaded shouldn't increase above $3.50 per gallon anywhere in 2021.
