Pybus Public Market announced Friday that the concourse will reopen next Monday for indoor seating at 25% capacity after the state concluded the facility is an open air establishment.

Executive Director Leslie Freytag said that earlier in the week she learned from the family that owns Visconti's that there was an opportunity to work with the Liquor & Cannabis Control Board.

"We had a meeting with a representative from the board and we walked through the facility." explained Freytag, "By opening a few of our upper windows we are able to get our CO2 levels below the 450 parts-per-million target that was established by the guidance from the governor."

According to the state's guidelines, all windows and doors must be opened 10 minutes prior to seating customers and remain open 10 minutes after customers leave. If CO2 levels exceed 450 parts-per-million for 15 minutes, patrons will have to relocate.

Freytag added that the concourse will look very much like it did back in early November before the current shutdown.
