Samaritan Healthcare Highlighted as One of the State’s Top Performing Hospitals

Moses Lake based hospital, Samaritan Healthcare, is being recognized as one of the top-performing hospitals in the state after a four star rating by Centers for Medicare & Medicaid Services.

"It's a huge honor, it's a testament to the care we provide here in Moses Lake, but also to the outcomes of the patients that come here for care and overall patient experience," said Gretchen Younger, communications director. "For community members, it's a great sign of hope and stability in their local healthcare resource."

Hospitals don't apply to be ranked and are evaluated across 5 categories. Those categories include mortality, safety of care, readmission, patient experience and satisfaction as well as timely and effective care.

Samaritan Healthcare is one of 18 four star hospitals in the state.
