Law enforcement is looking for a semi-truck they say was involved in a hit-and-run on Interstate 82 Monday injuring three people including a 4-year-old.

The State Patrol says the truck and a Chevy Trailblazer were heading west towards Ellensburg when the SUV tried to pass the semi.

Troopers say the semi then moved into the left lane causing the Trailblazer to brake and steer to the left to avoid a collision.

That movement forced the Chevy into the guardrail and eventually coming to rest on an embankment.

The driver eventually was airlifted to Harborview in Seattle.

The two passengers, including a 4-year-old boy, were taken to Kittitas Valley Hospital.
