Simply Safe Offers Free Car Seat Check Up Opportunity in Leavenworth

Simply Safe, Wenatchee first aid and safety organization, will be stationed at Chelan County Fire District 3 from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. on September 25 to provide free car seat check ups. Proper car seat installation will be evaluated along with providing education on car seat state laws.

"Sometimes parents don't even know what state law is (for car seats) or how to abide by it and that's something we can talk about and educate on," said Julie Wilcox, Simply Safe owner and child passenger safety technician and instructor.

Certified technicians will be on scene to answer any questions and clear up any confusion surrounding car seat safety. Advice and feedback will be provided on size, fit and style of car seats chosen.
