Suspect in Moses Lake Armed Robbery Case Arrested

A man accused of robbing and then shooting another man in Moses Lake last Friday is in jail.

According to our newspartner iFIBER ONE, police believe 31-year-old Dakota Johnson robbed the 28-year-old victim while the two were passengers in a car driven by the victim's ex-girlfriend. After the victim jumped from the car in the Stratford Road McDonald's parking lot, Johnson reportedly shot him in the leg before fleeing with the ex-girlfriend in her car.

Johnson was later interviewed by police and booked into the Grant County Jail on felony weapons and robbery charges.

The victim was transported to Samaritan Hospital and later released.
