The Mia Ledbetter Memorial Foundation provides emotional and financial support to families of the Wenatchee Valley that are going through hardships and extended stays away from home due to medical complications.

Back in November, the Mia Ledbetter Memorial Foundation partnered with Town Nissan in East Wenatchee and the Washington State Patrol for their annual food drive.

Trooper John Bryant said Town Nissan pledged to donate $500 each time a pickup was filled with food donations.

Bryant initially thought that the community had filled the pickup once, earning a $500 donation.

"I was informed today that we actually ended up filling the pickup five times, so they ended up donating $2,500." explained Bryant, "So our initial donations jumped up several times."
