Wenatchee Awards Bid for Former City Hall Remodel
Wenatchee city council approved the mayor to award the construction bid to TW Clark Construction for the remodel of former City Hall for the Social Security Administration office on 129 South Chelan. Out of four construction bids, TW Clark Construction bid the lowest for roughly $2,100,000.
"Social Security signed a lease with us and they're going to move in off the second floor here (the current City Hall) and we're going to remodel it for them," said Mayor Frank Kuntz.
The city will collect rent from the entity once the remodel is done and Social Security transitions to the building.
