Wenatchee Police Arrest Sex Offender After Short Vehicle Pursuit

A proactive Wenatchee Police officer noticed a car Thursday that had several equipment violations, including expired tabs.

When he attempted a stop, the car fled and drove in an erratic manner forcing the officer to call off pursuit out of fear for public safety.

A group of officers then coordinated a containment as they eventually found the vehicle and driver on the riverbank near Pybus along the riverfront.

Marc B. Sass was arrested without incident on multiple charges and warrants including failure to register as a sex offender.
