Wenatchee Police Nab Suspect Shared on Social Media

Officers from the Wenatchee Police Department's Special Services Division arrested a suspect Tuesday who's photo they had shared on social media last week.

Captain Edgar Reinfeld said David Lopez was arrested without incident.

"It did work in this case. We got some tips." Reinfeld stated, "Our Special Services Officers located Mr. Lopez today hanging out in a trailer behind a residence in South Wenatchee and were able to take him into custody on a number of warrants. I think more than he realized he had at the time."

Lopez was booked into the Chelan County Jail on the following arrest warrants: Rape 2nd Degree, Unlawful Imprisonment, Negligent Driving 1st Degree, Obstructing a Public Servant, Driving with a Suspended License 2nd Degree, and a violation of a No Contact Order.
