US 2 Signal Detection (Peshastin)
County: Chelan  Highway: US 2  Region: North Central
Location: MP 104 
Description: A technician will be conducting signal detection work on the signal mast arms at the intersection.
Work schedule:  Tuesday through Friday from 8 a.m. to 4 p.m., be attentive to shoulder closures at the signalized intersection of US 2/Main Street near Peshastin.

US 2 Guardrail Repair (Don Senn Memorial Interchange to Wenatchee)
County: Chelan  Highway: US 2  Region: North Central
Location: MP 105-119 
Description: A maintenance crew will install 200 feet of guardrail along the highway from east of the Don Senn Memorial Interchange/Big Y to Wenatchee.
Work schedule: Monday through Thursday from 8 a.m. to 3:30 p.m., expect flagger-controlled traffic and lane shifts with some delays where the crew is repairing guardrail on the highway.

US 2 Pine Canyon Emergency Slide Repairs #MS8489
County: Douglas   Highway: US 2  Region: North Central
Location: MP 143 (Orondo to Waterville)
Description: A contractor is removing unstable rock, repairing anchors and netting, and removing debris from a rockslide that occurred in February.
Work schedule: US 2 Pine Canyon is currently closed to traffic between Orondo and Waterville.  There are no official detours, but alternative routes for non-freight travel are available on McNeil Canyon Rd. and Badger Mountain Rd.  The road is scheduled to be reopened no later than March 25.

SR 17 Strategic Pavement Preservation #9624
County: Grant  Highway: SR 17  Region: North Central
Location: MP 42-51 (south of I-90 to Road 5 SE)
Description: Central Washington Asphalt, Inc. is the contractor for the region’s 2021 Strategic Pavement Preservation project.  Work will include crack seal, pothole repair, and chipseal.  Locations selected for this season are US 2 (MP 78-90), SR 17 (MP 42-51), SR 24 (43-63), SR 26 (MP 18-32), US 97A (MP 236-240), SR 170 (MP 2-4), SR 172 (MP 0-18).
Work schedule: Monday and Tuesday from 8 a.m. to 6 p.m., expect flagger controlled traffic with delays up to 20 minutes where the contractor is crack sealing the highway.

SR 17 S. of Rd. M SE Railroad Crossing Improvements #9628
County: Grant  Highway: SR 17  Region: North Central
Location: MP 48 (south of I-90 near Road M)
Description: This project will provide safety improvements to the rail crossing, adding pull out lanes for vehicles that are required by law to stop at RR crossings.  Additionally, a new cantilever with railroad flashing LED lights, an active advanced warning system, beam guardrail, permanent signing, and pavement markings will be added.
Work schedule: As of Friday, March 5, the road is closed with signed detour to allow a contractor for Columbia Basin Railroad to install a new concrete railroad crossing.  The road will reopen no later than Monday, March 8 at 6 p.m. Monday through Thursday from 6:30 a.m. to 5 p.m., expect lane shifts and flagger controlled traffic with delays where the contractor is widening the east side of the highway.  A speed limit reduction of 45 m.p.h. will be in place through the work zone.

I-90 Cable Repair (Moses Lake)
County: Grant, Adams  Highway: I-90  Region: North Central
Location: MP 191-193 
Description: A crew will repair damage cable barrier along the freeway east of Moses Lake.
Work schedule: Monday only from 7 a.m. to 4:30 p.m., expect westbound inside lane closure and slow downs where the crew is working.
