Another Round of Election Results Released Wednesday; Changes Little

With less than 200 votes left to count, Wednesday's updated vote totals lock in the results of the 2019 election. No major changes in the Chelan County races with Jim Fletcher, Bob Goedde, Michael Buckingham, and Carl Florea claiming their mayoral races. Martin Barron, Laura Jaecks, and Tim Larson winning spots on the Wenatchee School Board. For Wenatchee City Council, it's Jose Cuevas, Linda Herald and Travis Hornby.

In Douglas County, the closest race has been for Waterville mayor which saw another expansion of the lead for Jill Daling Thomson who now leads by 51 votes. For East Wenatchee mayor, Jerrilea Crawford has nearly 54 percent of the vote. In the race for Eastmont School Board, Cindy Wright, Whitney Smith and Meaghan Vibbert will win. Douglas County has roughly 900 votes left to count.

Advocates for Referendum 88 which would have restored affirmative action have conceded defeat as it will go down to defeat.
