Arrest Made in Burglary Could Connect to Fire Near Wenatchee River

Chelan County Sheriff's Deputies arrested a 32-year-old man in association with a burglary after several items went missing at a home in the 3200 block of Rivers Edge Place in Wenatchee.

They believe it is the same man who fled authorities when they tried to question him about a fire near a homeless encampment along the Wenatchee River Tuesday morning.

The man left behind wet clothes at the home where he allegedly stole a laptop, tablet, clothing and a firearm.

Deputies located the man in a Red Jeep Cherokee Wednesday morning and booked him for Burglary 1st Degree, Theft of a Firearm, Possession of a Stolen Firearm, and Unlawful Possession of a Firearm 2nd Degree.
