Body Found in Kittitas County Saturday

The Kittitas County Sheriff's Office says the body of a man was found in a creek off Smithson Road Saturday.

They say the man is 20-year-old Leroy Scott from Louisiana.

The initial investigation says Scott has ties to Washington through Fort Lewis, but was not employed by the military.

An autopsy will be performed to help determine what might have happened, but investigators are treating this case as a homicide.
