The Chelan-Douglas two-county area will likely surpass 1,000 confirmed cases of COVID-19 during the pandemic when numbers are released Wednesday morning.

The Chelan-Douglas Health District says the area is averaging 349 cases per 100,000 people over the past 14 days.

Six county residents are hospitalized from the disease, though 15 non-county residents are being treated in area hospitals.

Grant County has had 862 positives during the pandemic.

The Chelan-Douglas Health District has said they will not provided numbers of recovered patients from COVID due to the lack of testing capabilities to verify the end date of the infection.
