City of Leavenworth Offers Second Round of Lodging Tax Funding

City of Leavenworth still has $58,000 in lodging tax funds available through the Leavenworth Fund and is accepting applications from nonprofits until January 31 at 4 p.m.

The minimum grant amount is $4,000 and the maximum is $10,000 with funding to be spent in 2022. Extensions for future years may be available, dependent on circumstance.

"We have two funding categories. The first is heads in beds, this is meant to help promote activities that generate overnight stays in local hotels and accommodations," said Christie Voos, communications analyst. "The second category is operational support and this focuses on nonprofit organizations that have a mission focused on the Leavenworth community."
