Deputy Prosecutor Joins Race for Chelan County District Court Judge
Chelan County Deputy Prosecutor Allen Blackmon is running to be a Chelan County District Judge.
Blackmon is listed by the Washington Public Disclosure Commission as having registered in February.
He joins Wenatchee attorney Jonathan Volyn into the race to replace Judge Roy Fore, who announced earlier that he would retire at the end of the year.
Blackmon has worked as a County prosecutor since 1996, and previously ran to be District Court Judge in 2018, at that time to succeed Judge Nancy Harmon.
He graduated from Wenatchee High School and attended Wenatchee Valley College before graduating from University of Washington and getting a law degree from Syracuse University.
