Downtown Moses Lake Festival Returns from COVID-19 Shutdown
An annual festival in downtown Moses Lake is returning next month after being shut down last year from COVID-19.
Sip & Stroll will feature 24 different tasting opportunities from 11 wineries and a distillery, plus the work of 9 musicians and 6 artists.
Lexi Smith with the Downtown Moses Lake Association says it gives people a chance to explore downtown Moses Lake and sample wines from eastern Washington and around the region.
"They're from Ellensburg, they're from Quincy, they're from Moses Lake," said Smith. "You get to explore downtown businesses. You get to go into a place you've maybe never been to before. It really invites people into our downtown if they haven't been there in awhile. It becomes a community gathering place."
Sip & Stroll takes place Saturday afternoon, September 18th, 1pm-5pm with tickets going on sale Monday here - or in person at Michaels Market & Bistro (221 W Broadway Ave).
The tasting’s will by provided by Beaumont Cellars, Burke Vineyard, Camas Cove Cellars, Cascade Cellars, Chris Daniel Winery, Ellensburg Canyon Winery, Jones of Washington, Moses Lake Distillery, Recusant Cellars, Rider Cellars, White Heron Cellars & Winchester Estate Winery.
The participating locations are C. Michelle’s Hair Salon, Edward Jones – James Shank, Frederick’s Jewelry, Kris’ Skincare, Michael’s Market & Bistro, Millers Fine Jewelry, Roost, Settler’s Natural Market, Skaug Brothers Carpet One Floor & Home, Smith Martin Building, Soul to Soul Massage/Simple Health with Heidi, Stella and Me, Sue’s Gift Boutique, & Windermere K-2 Realty.
