Fire Crews Respond to Mobile Home Fire on Stemilt Creek Road Saturday Night

Fighters from Chelan County District 1 and Douglas County District put out a fire under a mobile home on Stemilt Creek Road Saturday night.

Public Information Officer Kay McKellar says the call came in around 9:15 that there was a fire under a double-wide which crews dealt with quickly.

"At 11:46 p.m. they transferred command to Brush 11, which was out there, and they stayed on fire watch until 6:25 a.m. and then they cleared."

No one was injured and all the occupants of the home were able to get out safely.

Fire Marshal Bob Plumb is investigating the cause.
