Five Counties Left in Phase 1, Including Chelan and Douglas

Chelan and Douglas Counties are now among just five that remain in Phase 1 of Governor Jay Inslee's "Safe Start" reopening plan.

The Governor approved 14 counties Friday to move to the next phase of reopening, including Okanogan which is now in Phase 2.

King County was approved to a modified version of Phase 1.

The five counties that remain at the unmodified Phase 1 level are Chelan, Douglas, Yakima, Benton, and Franklin.

Seven counties were approved to move to Phase 3.
