The Grand Coulee Dam visitor center is set to reopen May 29 and the laser light show, 'One River, Many Voices', is set to resume the 29th as well. The Grand Coulee Dam visitor center was built in the 1970s and the laser show was added in 1989.

"With technology advancing, we were able to get newer equipment and 2014 we were able to premiere the 'One River, Many Voices'," said Erika Lopez, Bureau of Reclamation public affairs specialist. "I do know and have heard it's a very beautiful show."

The center is closely following the guidelines from the CDC and folks fully vaccinated two weeks out from the final dose, masks are not required.

The laser light show will start at 10 p.m. until July 31st and beginning August 1st, will start at 9:30 p.m. until the end of August. The show will run at 8:30 p.m., beginning September 1st through the 30th. The visitor center is open seven days a week from 9 to 5.
