UPDATE Hay Fire Shuts Down Portion of State Route 20

UPDATE: Roadway clear as of roughly 3:30

Washington State Patrol was requested assistance by Okanogan County fire units after a large hay field fire that was about 3-5 acres at around 2 p.m. Trooper John Bryant stated that WSP shut down State Route 20 milepost 188, about four miles west of Winthrop. This area is still currently shut down, no update on the fire as of yet.
