This past weekend was the My Cause, My Cleats games in the NFL where players were able to wear customized shoes to promote things that were important to them.

Blaine Gabbert, a backup quarterback for the Tampa Bay Buccaneers wore shoes that highlighted the Army Ranger lead the Way Fund and placed Sgt. Leandro Jasso's name on them.

Jasso was a native of Leavenworth who joined the Army in 2012.

During his third deployment in Afghanistan in 2018, he died conducting combat operations in support of Operation Freedom’s Sentinel.
