Liberty Orchards Passed Off to New Ownership, KDV USA

The makers of Aplets & Cotlets, Liberty Orchards, has been sold to new ownership KDV USA and the Cashmere based business will be handed to the international confectioner.

"It was a good move for us because we wanted to sell to somebody who was committed to staying in Cashmere, someone who is committed to retaining our employees, to somebody who loved our brands and our recipes and someone that had the capital to bring fresh ideas to the business," said Greg Taylor, current owner. "KDV checked all those boxes."

KDV USA is an American corporation that is owned by a Russian entrepreneur, Denis Shtengelov, who started off with a sunflower business that has grown to 14 manufacturing facilities.
