Man Arrested after Moses Lake Churches Vandalized

A 33-year-old repeat offender is finally in custody after being arrested over the weekend for vandalizing two churches and stealing a car in Moses Lake.

According to our news partner iFIBER ONE, Brian Massey was identified by Moses Lake police after security video allegedly showed Massey at one of the crime scenes. The Moses Lake Alliance Church and Patriot Church - Moses Lake Campus were both vandalized Friday night or Saturday morning. Covenant Christian Academy was also reportedly damaged during that time.

Massey was discovered in a stolen vehicle midday Saturday. He was booked into the Grant County Jail on first degree malicious mischief and possession of a stolen vehicle.

Since January 22nd, Massey has reportedly been involved in 13 calls for police and did have an outstanding warrant, but he could not be previously booked into jail because of restrictions.
