Man Arrested After Pulling Gun On (And Being Disarmed By) Resident

A Wenatchee man was arrested Tuesday around 2:45 pm after officers responded to a call of an armed suspect in the backyard of a residence in the 600 block of Ridgeview Lane.

According to Captain Brian Chance, 47-year-old Scott Glass pulled a TEC-9 semi-automatic pistol on a resident of the home, only to be disarmed by the resident before police arrived.

Detectives said Glass was storing some property at the residence and was there to recover some of it. After obtaining a warrant, the firearm was recovered from the home's attached garage.

Glass was booked into the Chelan County Regional Justice Center on charges of assault in the 1st degree, kidnapping in the 1st degree, unlawful possession of a firearm and possession of a dangerous weapon.
