Pounds of Drugs, Vehicle Seized in Ephrata Bust

A 41-year-old man is behind bars following a bust on a mobile home in the 600 block of Basin Street SW in Ephrata.

PIO Kyle Foreman said Grant County INET assisted the Columbia River Drug Task Force and federal agents from the Drug Enforcement Agency in serving the early Monday morning search warrant.

"Investigators siezed approximately 1 1/2 pounds of suspected methamphetamine, 1/2 pounds of suspected heroin and 33 grams of suspected cocaine," detailed Foreman.

41-year-old Samuel R Mota-Mesa was arrested and booked into the Grant County Jail on several drug-related charges.

The Columbia River Drug Task Force also seized a vehicle they say was involved in the trafficking of drugs.
