Primary Election Results
Preliminary results were released last night for the primary elections. Chelan County Fire District 1 and 3 are likely to see their levies pass with more than 70 percent approval so far.
In some of the notable primaries, Mike McCourt is a distant third in the East Wenatchee Water Commissioner #1 race and Dave Piepel took more than 50% of the initial vote in the Eastmont School Board primary though his opponent could be either John Brangwin or Don Shennum. Keith Huffaker and Adam MacDonald are up a few hundred votes on KC Mulhall to potentially move on to the General election for Wenatchee City Council.
In Grant County, all the fire district levies were passing with the closest one in District 10 where they are currently at 56 percent yes.
