Robert Cox Removed as PAC Executive Director

Robert Cox has been removed as the Executive Director for the Numerica Performing Arts Center after just 3 months.

"We heard feedback from the community and from particular stakeholders in the Numerica Performing Arts sphere of influence, so to speak." PAC Board of Directors President Jake Purdom said, "We analyzed all that feedback, and felt it was important enough for us to take action. That action was removing Robert from his position."

Marketing Director Marissa Collins and Box Office Manager Kelly Wavra resigned from the PAC before the board chose to remove Cox. Purdom explained that previous Executive Director Matt Cadman was a tough act to follow.

"Once Matt left there was some great, big shoes to fill (in the) Executive Director position. I had a lot of respect for him." Purdom added, "I think at times like that, when you need to fill a leadership position, I'm sure it's always a challenge to be on a board. I think we were nothing unusual. We did pretty well given the situation."

Alex Haley will serve as Interim Executive Director. Zach Missal, formerly a tech for the PAC, is now the Box Office Manager. Graphic Designer Althea Castro and Marketing Assistant Maribeth Brisky are filling in for the loss of Collins, who quickly took a job with 501 Consultants.
