Smoky conditions shift AppleSox series South

Air quality conditions in Wenatchee and in Yakima have forced the AppleSox home series with the Corvallis Knights to move to Corvallis for a double header tonight (Thursday) beginning at 6pm.

Wenatchee has 3 game series in Bellingham starting Friday.  The AppleSox series with Corvallis was scheduled for three games so after the double header in Oregon tonight and the weekend series in Bellingham, should the third game versus Corvallis have playoff implications, it would be played on Monday, Aug. 7th at Paul Thomas Sr. Stadium.  The AppleSox are in the heat of a playoff push.  A victory by the Bellingham Bells yesterday over Victoria Harbourcats once again has Wenatchee in a first-place tie in the North Division with Victoria.  Bellingham is a half game back.
