Consultants for the City of Wenatchee will be conducting testing at Saddle Rock Park August 5th and 6th.

According to a press release by the City, there will be construction equipment in the area and potentially on the trail. Trail users are asked to use caution and avoid the equipment and workers.

The work is for the second and final phase design of an arsenic remediation project to remove mining waste piles on Saddle Rock. The project is funded by a Department of Ecology grant.

Construction is planned for late summer 2021.
