City of Wenatchee Executive Services Director Allison Williams is one of three finalists for the open Moses Lake City Manager position.

Wenatchee Mayor Frank Kuntz says she has done an incredible job for the City of Wenatchee.

"Under our form of government, which is a strong-mayor form of government, there is only a certain height you can go. A City Administrator job means that, in essence, she's the administrator of an entire city. The Chief of Police would report to her, the Public Works Director would report to her. So it's quite a step up."

The other candidates are Adam Hammatt of Whitefish, Montana and Harold Stewart, City Manager of Warrensburg, Missouri.

A candidate reception is scheduled for November 18th from 7:00 pm to 9:00 pm at the Civic Center, located at 401 S Balsam St, Moses Lake. The community is encouraged to attend.

The candidates will take part in three interview panels the following day, November 19th. The panels will be comprised of citizens, business owners, department directs and councilmembers.

Moses Lake hopes to appoint their city manager in early December, with a start date in early January.
