Groot is always thankful for attention and time, and he walks very calmly on a leash. That is a great disposition for such a large guy. He is waiting for a home with a patient person to help assist him to lose some weight. Don't we all?

Groot is a loveable, goofy teddy bear who is friendly with everyone he meets. He would be a wonderful companion for someone who is calm and leads a quieter lifestyle but can give him the exercise he needs.

He may seem a little aloof at first, but just give him a minute and he will be right up next to you. If you are looking for the easiest dog to join your family, know that he is just a big softie with an even bigger heart.
