Wenatchee School District Remains In Session After Threat Investigation

The Wenatchee School District will continue its in person schedule for Monday after social media threats were reported and investigated. According to the district, staff and law enforcement were informed Instagram and Snapchat messages made by Wenatchee school district students that were threatening in nature on Monday morning.

"We did some investigation with our local police department to investigate the nature of those threats," said Diana Haglund, communications director. "It was determined they were not directly related to Wenatchee High School students or staff."

Haglund adds the district is continuing to monitor any threatening messages reported.
