The Wenatchee Valley Chamber of Commerce announced their winners for business and non-profit of the year at their annual banquet Thursday night, which had to be done virtually this year.

Mission Ridge Ski and Board Resort was named the Business of the Year, while the Wenatchee Downtown Association was Non-Profit of the Year.

Mission Ridge GM Josh Jorgensen said, "This has been the hardest year of all of our lives, for so many reasons. The team that we have is the most amazing group of people and that foundation of the team is the owners, the Scrivanich Family. We want to thank you Larry for believing in us and investing in us."

Linda Haglund was equally profusive, "We have worked so incredibly hard to be there for anyone who needed us. I am so incredibly humbled to be part of such an incredible community who cares so much about us and downtown."

There were also three Cornerstone awards given to Alma Chacon of CAFE, Blair McHaney of Worx and Evy Gillin of the Wenatchee Racquet and Athletic Club.

The first ever Virtual Banquet Experience, was hosted from the Historic Liberty Theater with the theme “Still Standing.”
