The Wenatchee Valley Farmers Market and the Pybus Artisan Market will kick off the 2021 season on May 8 with plans to run every Saturday until October 30. The farmers market will operate similarly to last year, with the market based at the west parking lot and this year, the Pybus Artisan Market will be a regular fixture in the Plaza section.

Roughly 26 vendors are expected for the Mother's Day weekend market.

"The beginning of the season is always a little bit slower as farmers' produce is just coming into season," said Jessica Mayo, artisan and foundation development manager. "I expect that that number will grow in weeks to come."

The markets will run from 8 a.m. to 1 p.m. the entire season. COVID-19 precautionary measures will be in place such as spaced out vendors, limited number of folks and a voluntary visitor log.
