The Wenatchee High School Interact Club is putting on a Heart of Wenatchee benefit concert December 6 with a local cause fueling the fundraising efforts for the Chelan-Douglas Land Trust. The Interact Club is striving for a goal of $35,000 to provide the Chelan-Douglas Land Trust for trail upkeep projects and supplement the building of a new memorial trailhead, Kenzie's Landing.

"We are all students dedicated to serving our community," said Jaela Field, club president.  "We decided to do this cause, because we've done similar things in the past and it's really fun to be able to put on a show and see lots of the community come together to support this cause."

The concert will be start at 6 p.m. in the Riverside Playhouse with tickets $17.

"The really exciting thing about this concert is it's entirely student run. It's all of us working together to put a really great act on and it's all teenage leaders who are really wanting to make a good difference in their community," said Field.
