A Cashmere female was booked into Chelan County Regional Jail Saturday night after attempting to elude a police vehicle, hit and run collision, reckless endangerment, suspended driver’s license and two outstanding arrest warrants. Jessica Fisk, 22 year old, was the driver of the suspect vehicle that allegedly failed to yield and fled from two Douglas County deputies.

A deputy attempted to make a traffic stop near the Rock Island BJ's at 9:29 Saturday night however the vehicle fled and the deputy discontinued the pursuit due to immediate safety concerns.

"The vehicle however continued to drive recklessly, running a couple of stop signs that was witnessed by a deputy responding in that area," said Sheriff Kevin Morris.

The second deputy in the area spotted the same vehicle driving at a high speed and fail to stop at Rock Island Drive and State Route 28 to continue eastbound on SR28. When the deputy pursued the vehicle, the suspect vehicle lost control at milepost 12, spun and struck a guardrail. When the vehicle regained control, it continued on until milepost 15 when the vehicle lost control again and struck an occupied car on the shoulder of the roadway.

"The suspect vehicle ended up crashing and stopping where the two deputies were able to get control and arrest the driver," said Sheriff Morris.

No one involved sustained major injuries. Fisk was arrested and booked into CCRJ.
